The coroner's handbook.

Everything CORONER does is a published rule applied to public chain data. Here are the rules.

01

How scoring works

Every token gets six checks. Each check passes (full weight), warns (half weight) or fails (zero). The Vitals Score is the sum, from 0 to 100. 60 and up is ALIVE, 30 to 59 is CRITICAL, under 30 is FLATLINED.

Dev wallet holding

20 pts

How much of the supply the deploying wallet still holds. A big bag can be dumped at any moment.

PASS
< 5%
WARN
5–15%
FAIL
> 15%

Top-10 holder concentration

20 pts

Share of supply held by the ten largest wallets, excluding the curve, pool, locker, factory and dead address.

PASS
< 30%
WARN
30–50%
FAIL
> 50%

Dev wallet sold

20 pts

How much of its own holdings the deploying wallet has already sold.

PASS
0%
WARN
1–50%
FAIL
> 50%

Deployer's prior Pons launches

15 pts

Wallets that launch token after token are usually farming launches, not building one.

PASS
0–2
WARN
3–10
FAIL
> 10

Sniper share (first 10s)

10 pts

Supply bought in the first ten seconds. Heavy early buying usually means bots waiting to sell into you.

PASS
< 10%
WARN
10–25%
FAIL
> 25%

Momentum vs peak

15 pts

Current bonding-curve progress compared with the highest progress this token has reached.

PASS
At peak (within 30%) or graduated
WARN
Down 30–70%
FAIL
Down > 70%

score = Σ weight × (pass 1 · warn 0.5 · fail 0)

The same facts always give the same score. A badge, a payment or a request never changes it.

02

Death rules

A token is declared dead when any one of these is true:

  1. (a)Price is down 90% or more from its peak and there have been no buys for 6 hours.
  2. (b)The dev wallet has sold 100% of its holdings and price is down 80% or more from peak.
  3. (c)No trades at all for 24 hours.
03

Causes of death

Dev Dump
The deploying wallet sold most of its supply into buyers.
Liquidity Pull
A mass exit drained the curve or pool reserve. (Pons locks pool liquidity, so this means holders pulling out, not the dev removing LP.)
Bundled Supply
A cluster of linked wallets held a large share from the start and sold together.
Slow Bleed
No single event: price drifted down for hours as buyers stopped arriving.
Abandoned
Trading simply stopped. No buys, no sells, no one home.
Sniper Swarm
Bots bought the opening seconds and sold into every buyer that followed.
04

Data sources

CORONER reads Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663) directly over its public RPC. New launches come from the Pons V2 launch factory's TokenLaunched event. Trades before graduation come from each token's bonding curve (CurveBuy, CurveSell); after graduation, from Uniswap v4 Swap events for the token's pool.

05

What the AI does

The AI writes words, not numbers. It turns facts the chain already recorded into a short verdict, an autopsy narrative and last words. Every number on a case file comes from the formula and the chain, never from the model.

AI text can be imperfect. If a sentence and a number disagree, trust the number.

06

Risks & limits

CORONER reads public on-chain data and applies a published formula. A Vitals Score is not an audit or investment advice. Tokens can lose all value.

  • A high score is not a safety guarantee. Rugs can still happen to tokens that score well.
  • Wallets are not people. One person can control many wallets, and checks only see what the chain shows.
  • RPCs and indexers can lag or fail, so a case can briefly be out of date.
07

API

A public case-file API and an MCP server for agents are coming. The response shape will match the case file page.
